Shireen started her career as a semifinalist of a model talent search competition, GADIS Sampul 2006. Shireen loves to act since she was a kid, and then she found her luck when accompanying her aunt for casting in SinemArt, a production house. Unexpectedly she also offered to join in.
Shireen's first act is as supporting actress in a soap opera titled Bukan Diriku with Baim Wong and Ririn Dwi Ariyanti. Her name rose when she starred a soap opera Wulan with Dhini Aminarti. The other soap opera that she has starred are Putri Duyung and Perempuan Teraniaya.
Shireen left SinemArt and moved to other production house named MD Entertainment. In this production house, Shireen got an exclusive contract that made her name very popular. She signed as leading actress for act as Fitri in soap opera titled Cinta Fitri season 1, Cinta Fitri season 2, Cinta Fitri season 3, Cinta Fitri season Ramadhan, Cinta Fitri season 5, and Cinta Fitri season 6.Acting isn't her only talent. With her sister, Zaskia Sungkar, she formed a vocal duo named The Sisters. Their debut album titled "The Journey of Love" with hit single Keajaiban Cinta. This album released on July 25, 2008. With Teuku Wisnu, Shireen also sing a soundtrack for Cinta Fitri season 6. [source : Shireen Sungkar]
