Ashanty

Ashanty Shiddik Hasnoputro or popularly known with Ashanty (born November 4, 1984) is an Indonesian singer and model. Ashanty is the youngest child of five siblings. As a daughter of a diplomat, her childhood spent in foreign countries.

Ashanty started her career in Indonesian entertainment as a finalist of Aneka Yess model competition. When Ashanty graduated from high school she continue her passion in entertainment business through Pemilihan Abang None Jakarta (Jakarta tourism ambassador competition) and named as Favorite Winner.

With those achievements this University of Paramadina graduate gain various bids to be a model and product endorser. Ashanty's beautiful face is the icon of "Chat & Date" in one of Indonesian TV station. She also starring a clip video of Hijau Daun band's song titled Selalu Begitu. 

Ashanty's acquaintanceship with music industry started when she met Barry Djuhana (RIP). In January 2009 she released her debut album titled "Ashanty". Her first single is Yovie Widianto's creation titled "Aku Ingin Kamu, Kamu Ingin Dia". And then followed with "Dulu" created by Dewiq and "Bohong" by Teguh Vagetoz. This album also supported by famous Indonesian musicians as Bebi Romeo, Tohpati, Glenn Fredly, and more.

Lately, Ashanty's name rose when she named as the next Anang Hermansyah duet partner replacing Syahrini which become Indonesian most anticipated duet.
