Marcella Zalianty is a daughter of Indonesian senior actress, Tetty Liz Indriati. Marcella was born in Jakarta, March 7th 1980. She is an Indonesian model, actress, producer and director.
A soap opera titled Cerita Cinta (1999) is Marcella Zalianty's debut as a professional actress. Started from that, Rudi Sodjarwo -a young Indonesian director- attracted with her act. With Rudi Soedjarwo, Marcella Zalianty has played in two independent movie are Bintang Jatuh and Tragedi, these both movies limitedly released in cinema in year 2000. Her talent become more polished when another young director Riri Riza use Marcella as a supporting actress in his indie movie titled Eliana, eliana
