Marcella Zalianty

Marcella Zalianty is a daughter of Indonesian senior actress, Tetty Liz Indriati. Marcella was born in Jakarta, March 7th 1980. She is an Indonesian model, actress, producer and director.

A soap opera titled Cerita Cinta (1999) is Marcella Zalianty's debut as a professional actress. Started from that, Rudi Sodjarwo -a young Indonesian director- attracted with her act. With Rudi Soedjarwo, Marcella Zalianty has played in two independent movie are Bintang Jatuh and Tragedi, these both movies limitedly released in cinema in year 2000. Her talent become more polished when another young director Riri Riza use Marcella as a supporting actress in his indie movie titled Eliana, eliana (2002).

Marcella Zalianty then starred several movies are Tusuk Jelangkung (2003), The Soul (2003), Missing (2005), Brownies (2005), Belahan Jiwa (2005), Denias, Senandung Diatas Awan (2006), Under The Tree (2008), and Takut: Faces of Fear (2008). Her terrific act in Brownies made her named as The Best Actress in Festival Film Indonesia 2005.

Beside movie, Marcella also performed in some stage theater like Freakin' Crazy You (Eki Dance Company), Antigone (Teater Populer) and a performance in Monaco. She also known as many products endorser.

Evie Tamala

Evie Tamala (Born in Tasikmalaya, West Java, on June 23, 1969) is a famous Indonesian dangdut singer, songwriter and producer. 

Evie Tamala who has real name Cucu Suryaningsih is popular with her songs "Selamat Malam", "Cinta Ketok Magic" and "Dokter Cinta".

Evie started her career in 1980's as a stage singer and joined in a dangdut band named Orkes Melayu Sinar Remaja. In that time Evie has stage name as Uce Arifina. Her band has performed in all round of West Java province. Until one day Muchtar B -a dangdut songwriter and producer- heard Evie's beautiful voice and ask her to make a record deal.

Unfortunately Evie's debut album didn't run well. In 1988 she made her second album with  Muchtar B's song "Tang Ting Tong Der". This second album still couldn't lift Evie's name in Indonesian dangdut music scenery.

One year later, Evie records her third album titled "Dokter Cinta". This album rocketed and lift Evie's name equal with other popular dangdut singer, as Elvy Sukaesih, Camelia Malik and Rita Sugiarto.

Evie Tamala's third album success then followed with her next albums are "Hari-Hari Cinta "(1990), "Aduh Sayang" (1991), "Kandas" and "Aku Rindu Padamu".

Najwa Shihab

Najwa Shihab was born in Makassar on September 16, 1977. She graduated with a law degree from the University of Indonesia, majoring in litigation. Najwa is second daughter of  Quraisy Shihab, former Indonesian Religion Minister. She speaks fluently both in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Najwa Shihab or usually called with Nana began her career as a reporter with RCTI in Jakarta. She joined Metro TV in August 2000. During the past six years, Shihab has covered the country's major stories, including the first interview with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono after taking office, and an exclusive conversation with Malaysia's former deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim shortly after his release from prison.

Najwa anchors Metro TV's primetime evening news program "Metro Hari Ini". The daily one-hour live broadcast focuses on Indonesia's top news stories and people. She also hosts the network's primetime talk show "Today's Dialogue", the weekly interactive program "Padamu Negeri" and "Save Our Nation," a weekly newsmakers forum. She also has her own talk show titled "Mata Najwa".

During the 2004 presidential election, Shihab co-anchored "Pentas Kandidat", which was named "Best Television Election Talk Show" by Indonesia's Media Coalition for Clean Election. She also hosted a live special focusing on high-profile court cases including the Bali bombing trial, Akbar Tanjung proceedings, and the Tommy Soeharto's trial.

In 2005, Najwa Shihab was named as "Best TV Anchor/Reporter" by an Indonesia journalists association  for her work in the 2004 tsunami that hit Aceh and Nias. [source : Najwa]

Agnes Monica

Agnes Monica (born Agnes Monica Muljoto on July 1, 1986) is an Indonesian pop singer, dancer, actress, songwriter, and producer. Her career started when she was only 6 years old.

Her album "..And the Story Goes" (2003) made her popular as a teenage singer. It was a big success in Indonesia with the singles "Bilang Saja", "Jera" and "Cinta Mati". The album sold 30.000 copies in only 3 days and eventually got double platinum. In 2005 she released her second album "Whaddup A.. '?!" with the hit single, "Tak Ada Logika". It sold 50,000 copies in 10 days and went to triple platinum (with no album promotion in Malaysia). Her third album was "Sacredly Agnezious" (2009), with the hit single, Teruskanlah. Her biggest hit to date is Matahariku.

Her success brought her fame not only in her homeland, Indonesia, but also in neighboring Asian countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines and even in the Netherlands in Europe. Her performance at the 2008 Asia Song Festival in Seoul, Korea, led her to fame in Taiwan, Korea, China and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region. She is the only singer in Indonesia who has her own dance group called, Nezindahood, who always perform with Agnes on stage. In 2009, she began planning to launch her international career, and started taking Mandarin lessons. A result of this was her role in two Taiwanese drama series, "Romance in the White House" with Peter Ho, and "The Hospital" with Jerry Yan.
